Reading Hour is the first print publication from Differsense Ventures LLP.

There are thousands of English language publications registered with the Registrar of Newspapers India, yet, it isn't often that you stumble upon an English magazine that carries short stories, verse, essays and that sort of thing, on bookshelves and news-stands alike. English is the youngest language in India, but for many of us who've become 'single-language' readers for one reason or another it is the language of choice for leisure reading.

We plan to publish a new magazine in India. A magazine for victims of the reading habit! Small enough to slip into your shoulder bag and light enough for a curl-up-and-read. The following features are planned:

• Short fiction, in a variety of genres
• Translated short stories (from Indian regional works or non-Indian languages)
• True stories of achievement, courage and inspiration
• Articles on life and people in different parts of the world
• Interesting hobbies and careers
• Verse
• Interviews and biographies
• Book Reviews / Summaries
• Essays on lifestyles, environment, philosophy, health, modern day issues, etc...

The magazine will be a bi-monthly print publication for circulation within India.
